Be Freshmen X ' I W WE CAUGHT THIS freshman a little off guard. Ari. The Class Of 1989 This year was a big year for the class of '89. They were coming from two different junior highs, C-reenecres and Cope, to unite as one family in the big A.H.S. They had to forget all former rival- ries and get acquainted with a lot of new people. But at the same time they had to adjust to a new school and harder classes, which by no means is an easy task. But the class of '89 proved they were ready to be Vikings when the first pep rally rolled around. They all joined together with excitement and enthusiasm. They also proved their Viking pride when it came time to make Homecoming floats. They put many hours of time and effort into perfecting their float, but when it was done the effort all paid off. They ended up getting second place in the float contest, but they have shown the upper classmen that they won their way to the top. THIS IS THE way the freshmen conducted class.
