Mathematics Addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division may seem elementary to us now, but to ancient man it was a giant step forward. Today, modern man still realizes the impor- tance of these elementary methods in more complicated forms of mathematics. In addition to general math, Algebra I, busi- ness math, and geometry, Airline also offers the college preparatory courses of Algebra II, Trigonometry, and advanced math. ,ff V' vu-n 0 4

Science In science we learn more about ourselves and the environ- ment surrounding us, therefore, science courses play a large role in educating students everywhere. At Airline, both lecturing and laboratory experimentation were a part of the curriculum in each science class. By the use of experiments, students could learn by doing. In some classes students were also required to do a project of their choice which further developed their ability to work independently. , ...,,,., K sw. . .,:,,,k,, MIDDLE: Mr. Mandeville examines a test tube during an experi- ment.
