DECA . The Distributive Education Club is one of the only organizations at Airline that intergrates classroom instruction, on-the- job training, and club work. Nearly every phase of the Distributive Education pro- gram is further explored in DECA by means of contests on the state and national levels. In these contests of mar- keting skills, Airline DECA finished sec- ond in the state out of more than one hundred clubs, and two Airline students represented Louisiana at the National DECA Convention. DECA is also active in school and com- munity activities to improve Airline High School and Bossier City. DECA officers were: Phyllis Spataro, President, Beth Dowden, V.
