Choose and Follow Your Blueprint
In 1932 60011011110 affans ln thls country and
xn much of the lest of the wolld were at a low
stage Want sufferlng and dlspaxr were preva

stay ahve In the mldst of these condltlons Her
bert J Taylor was given an 1mp0SSlbl6 task
H1s Job was to save a company wh1ch owed 1ts
cledltors S400 000 more than the value of 1ts
assets This IS a true success story Mr Taylor
was able to save the company and bulld lt mto
a multlmllllon dollar concern
Phe lmportance of this success ll6S not so much
ln the economxc achlevement but accoldlng to Mr
Taylor himself ln the blueprint WhlCh he used
ln fashlonlng that success He called lt the Four
Way Test and by measurlng all hls busxness pol
ICIQS and procedures ln the llght of th1s blue
prmt he lard lns foundatlons for h1s buslness
success Yet xt was not really busmess success
that he achleved rather It was human relations
success Here IS hls blueprlnt '
The Four Way Test

Wlll It be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
Mr Taylor through an lnternatlonal buslness

In 1938 Frank N Buchman set up another
blueprxnt wh1ch was Intended to bring about
better human relatlons Hls pattern began a
movement wh1ch has spread to fifty countrles It
IS known as Moral Re Armament It was born ln

Ahrens Matchless Musicmakers
THE BAND AND ORCHESTRA ENTERTAINED a lot this year. Besides their usual
appearances at assemblies and dances at Ahrens, they performed outside the school.
The band, shown above, played at Parkland and Eastern Junior High Schools. These
xsj musical groups joined with the Glee Club in making the 1955 Music Festival a huge
'lx success on April 1.
