The main project of the club is a chicken salad supper, the proceeds of which are used for financing the state convention trip and for schol¬ arships. Members also sponsor Tag Day, a drive for scholarships given to worthy students. Distributive Education Club Distributive Education indentifies a pro¬ gram of instruction which teaches mar¬ keting, merchandising, and management in the field of distribution. There are two phases of D.E. offered on the high school level: a preparatory marketing course, offered with the student ' s other academic subjects; and a cooperative distributive education, which trains boys and girls for careers in business. The primary purposes of the D.E.C.A. are to develop a respect for education in marketing and to promote understanding and appreciation for the responsibilities of citizenship. The team, composed of freshmen, sophomores, and juniors, showed a great deal of promise, and will return with bright hopes for next year. Although the girls don ' t win all the games, the coach points out that he hopes that they have won a " never-say-die " spirit.
