SENIOR ACTIVITIES
We Seniors of 'L9 have the honor of having the largest graduating
class to have our pictures in the annual. We also have the largest --
picture to be hung in the hall with the other graduating classes.
It seemed as if school started off just right. We first had a 'J QL

class meeting and elected the following students as officers, and also

Then came the time for us to select our class rings We thought
this was a great event The class aD,agreed on the same ring During
this same week we had omrSen1or pictures made This was another great
event for the Seniors
he had to have some fun along with the School work So, on Sep
tember 27 we planned our first party which was a hay ride This was
enjoyed by the whole class Bob Riley used his truck untake us on the
hay ride Mrs Robert Roomsburg invited us out to their farm
Then came the Homecoming Banquet the crowning of the Football
Cueen, and our Homecoming Football game Me were all pretty busy
worked on the Queen contest very hard The Seniors came in as second
in the race for the 'ueen Nancy Morehouse was our candidate
Then on November l8, came Senior Day What a day' We all looked
forward to this, and found it was a new experience for us We went to
the A k M College at Miami, and then on the tour of Goodrich Rubber
plant e all had a marvelous time
About December 17th we had another party It was a Christmas
party, and each one brought a gift to put in the grab bag
PLANS FOR THE FUTURE
Then of course we must show our dramatics ability we will pres
ent a one act play entitled 'Stoney's Brides' March 25th The play
cast will include Mary Black, Viola Fox, Martha Jones, Mary Roomsburg,
Roger Hall and John Gray
We will also present a three act play April 29, entitled Palms
Up with the ca! including Opal Geouge, Jimmie Richards Molly Power,
Martha Jones, Leroy Schulte, Maxine Pendley Beverly Vinyard, Marion
Thorpe, Jack Chandler and Wilma Harrison
are anxiously waiting for the time when the Juniors wlllenter
tain us with a bancuet
must have some last social get togethers for just us Seniors, fx !"FA'
and the talk seems to be a picnic at Noel the afternoon after our ,N
assembly program
The events we have looked forward to for 12 long years is our f
Baccalaurate, May 22nd, and our Commencement on May 26th
