In addition to the constant day to day supervisory duties required of a Superintendent of Schools, there is a mountain of bookkeeping he must do or supervise every month. He must be teacher, public relations agent, counselor, disciplinarian, financial manager, transportation and maintainance expert all rolled into one. Edwin L. Bolton, finishing his 13th year at Adna, is all these things. He has provided sound and progressive leadership for Adna Schools throughout the 12 years the class of 55 has been in school. Mr. Bolton has been an educator for 33 years. All of these 33 years have been spent in adminis- trative work. Walter Roundtree, high school principal, is one of Adna High's most important personages. I In addition to his administrative duties, he teaches all vocational woodworking classes. His accomplishments as a teacher of wood shop are long and impressive. Mr. Roundtree works very closely with the student council, acting as faculty advisor with the legisla.tive group. He has been at Adna 12 years, the last two of which have been as high school principal. The Board of Education Cpictured on the next pagej is made up of a group of public minded citizens, who without pay and with very little thanks, give untiringly of their time to provide good citizen leadership for Adna Schools.
