BUCCANEER
STAFF
The Buccaneer Staff has
spent many hours of its
free time finishing the
tedious task of rewriting
and typing material for
our yearbook.
Though hardly in the
bright lights, they have
done a fine job and should
be commended for the vast
amount of work which
they have accomplished.

Much practice was neces-
sary in order to prepare
the Glee Club for their
Christmas Program. Their
singing made the Vesper
Service a great success
and the carols put the
Christmas spirit in our
hearts. We could never
thank the Glee Club
enough for the help which
they gave in relieving the
strain of the last day be-
for Christmas Leave.

Cadets who have lettered
in any of the Varsity
teams are eligible for
membership in the Mono-
gram Club. Throughout
the year they have worked
hard to represent Farra-
gut in conference games.
Although we were not
outstandingly good in any
one sport, these boys did
well to hold their own
against far superior teams,

JUNIOR
SCHOOL
DRILL TEAM
One of the most amazing
accomplishments this year
has been the Junior School
drill team. This team has
learned movements that
would prove extremely
difficult for the R.O.T.C.
units. They have per-
formed at nearly all our
parades, as well as "The
Sunshine Festival Par-
ade". No word of con-
gratulations would be suf-
ficient to commend you
Cadets for your outstand'
ing achievements.
SENIOR
SCHOOL
DRILL TEAM
Having little time in
which to work, these
cadets accomplished much
in learning many precision
drill movements. The
team was originated to
put on short drills before
parades to entertain the
spectators. These man-
euvers, being very diffi-
cult, took much time to
learn but working in their
spare time these Cadets
learned much. Our thanks
to them for the work they
have done,

QUILL AND
SCROLL
This is a new organiza-
tion that was started at
Farragut this year. Cadets
who are members must
stand high in their scho-
lastic class average and
must be of upstanding
character. A nationwide
organization, we are
proud to have these Ca-
dets as representatives of
our school.
