He is determined to go to sea, Whether by means of a school sloop or via the Coast Guard Academy. He's already been to sea in the sloop, and it was a wet ride. His business ability has won him the reputation of star ad solicitor for the Admiral Toots a mean bugle in the band and fre- quently too mean a one on the fourth deck. His Worst enemy is math. No, turn it on again, give it a little more exposure: now, you see, that was too much. Cadet Robert P. Leak, the gentleman from No'th Carolina, suh! Bob is the man responsible for the editing of the photography end of this book. If his southern accent was heard anywhere on the campus, a camera would be sure to be seen in the vicinity. The efficient manager of the foot- ball squad, quiet, smiling, courteous, caller-outer of the Big Apple -and voted the neatest.

He is headed for the Coast Guard Academy in 1939 and from all indications is an excellent prospect. Voted most optimistic.

Bobertl-l Nott Woody Company B Glee Club 38 Band '38. Woody was a staunch member of Company B, although he beat a stirring drum in the band Along with this per- cussion ability went an ever pleasant nature mixed in with some dry humor Playing the outfield on the baseball team, Nott made a rep for hrmself for shagging flies. Being a day student the corps wasnt privileged to see as much of him , if 355' Robert T. Leary Bob Company A, 2nd P. O., Football '38, Iunior Varsity Basketball '38, Baseball '38, Varsity Club '38, Hop Committee '38, Wheel Watch '38, Yearbook '38, Lapel Stars. I gotta look 'ut the boats now. Bob is the most sea-minded cadet in the corps and his quest for sea-faring knowledge is ever going on, as evidenced by the tact that he stood way out front in his navigation class. Bob worked hard in everything he started and won the distinction of being voted best student and most likely to succeed. X
