Mornings were spent ei- ther frantically finishing (or starting) homework from the night before, or just relaxing with friends. However the extra few minutes were spent, students used this time to prepare themselves for the busy and eventful day they were about to face. LES -x. The Patriot's after noon is filled with lun times and friends. Students could be found sitting or gos- siping with friends in the library, cafeteria, and commons. Many students spent their free time in the li brary catching up on assignments. Others were more relaxed. In class they sat back and put their leet up. Some even found time to catch up on needed sleep. Come 3:25, the Patriot hallways begin to clear out and students report to their afterschool ac- tivities. Many sports teams did well this year, including cross country, volleyball, and football. Some students chose to join in other school activities such as dance, drama and forensics. In all. But it wasn't. There were many times when I wanted to quit, when the frustration and uncertainty became overwhelm- ing and I wanted to give the job to someone else. I’m glad I didn’t. And for that I am thankful to a wonderfully supportive sponsor and staff. People don’t realize the time and effort it takes to produce a book like this, but it's there, along with the pressure of not knowing how it will be received once it’s out. I sincerely hope you like the '87- 88 AMBASSADOR. If not, sor- ry, we don’t give refunds! Editor-in-Chief Special thanks to the following con- tributors without whose help pro- duction of the AMBASSADOR would not be complete. Rob Browning Mrs. Caldwell Cilento Kim Lambert Dennis Eder Mrs. Jeschke Mrs. Jesse Josten's “Cremer Photography’ Colophon The 1987 1988 Stevenson AMBASSADOR was produced by Josten's American Yearbook Company with the help of Mr. Dennis Eder. The cover of the book is a photograph of an actual layout. Endsheets are Saddle Brown 302. Headline styles are News Gothic, Brush Script, and Korinna. The main type sizes used range from 42pt. to 6pt. Korinna. 1,637 copies of the AMBASSADOR were sold at $18. $20, and $22. Theme idea by Stacie Campbe
