In the late fall of I95O Addrson Central School re opened tts almost completed new doors
and the students came bargrng rn The Senrors of course lrke all new Senrors seemed to lhllll
that they were the only Semor Class that Addrson ever had or ever would have They looked at
the Freshmen and smrled Then they remembered that four short years ago they had been snu
ly settled 1n the Freshmen class homeroom wrth Mr Lundrrgan as adxrsor That year they
elected Wayne Sherwood presrdent John Moms vrce presrdent and Sonya Stone secretary
treasurer The werner roast was held at Lrttle Nragara wrthout any mrshaps Sonya Stone was
May lueen Attendant The Senrors were strll smrlrng as they remembered therr Sophomore
year Mr Harrrson and Mrs Mrtchell were advrsors And we sure needed advxcel That year we
elected George Tucker presrdent Dan Hovey VICE presrdent and Erma Hand secretary treasurer
Sonya Stone was May Queen Attendant The werner roast was at Bear Falls And we had some
class partres The smrle started to slrp just a lrttle as we remembered our Iunror year Leo
Sharpe was our presrdent Percy Husted our vrce presrdent and Sonya Stone our secretary
treasurer Our advrsor was Mr Sadler and thrs was a brg year Bear Falls was the destrnatron
for our werner roast and at Chnstmas t1me we had a wonderful party Norma Stewart was May
Queen wrth Sonya Stone and B rb Stuart as attendants We sponsored a dance and could hardly
wart for our Semor year Now the Semors aren t smrlrng They re recallrng th1s last year It s
been a good one The Semor Play the trrp to lxew York the Sadre Hawkrns Dance the Jr Sr
Prom wrth 1IS two attendants all the varrous bake sales and suppers and the socral hours Thrs

Our first project of the year was to send members from Band, Orchestra and Chorus to the
NYSSMA All-State Festival at Canisteo, November 6 84 7. December 23 we put on a Christmas
program in which the Mixed Chorus, Triple Trio, Orchestra, Second, Third and Sixth Grades
took part under the direction of Mrs. Sloand and Mr. Snyder. The NYSSMA Festival is to be
held in Addison this year and a program consisting of an operetta and several concerts is
planned.
