Wlaen it's been raining all afternoon and
the evening mail doesn't contain the letter
you expected and your supper is cold and
tasteless, and you go to a show and it,s
terrible, just make yourself believe that it
won't rain tomorrow, that the letter will
come in the next mail, that your next meal
will be all right and the next show you see
will be entertaining. And, should it happen
that it does rain the next day, the letter
fails to arrive, the meal isn't any good and
the show is not entertaining, then have a
good laugh for being able to kid yourself
into believing such things would happen.
