.fu IP'- LAWRENCI3 BLAN'roN F07'fcv11'1f Blanton played a beautiful game of basket ball and his graduation robbed Oak Clit? of a real star. He was fast and had a keen judgment in getting the ball down the floor and on through the basket. Blanton had a great deal of real bas- ket ball talent. His presence would have prob- ably meant a better standing for Oak Cliff had he been allowed to remain the entire season. ERNEST HENSON NAT VVEST gud,-4 Quan! Remindin manv of the brilliant Ira 3 . Hopper, Frnest Henson played a 'fmeanl' guard on the basket ball court. The stocky little fellow was a star substitute and held his own with the largest guards in the city. W'est, guard, started out the season in a slow manner, but before long turned out to be an excellent guard. He could block and run and guard and do most everything a good guard is required to do. West was rall and used his height to an advantage in grasping the ball from the rival players. Another good basket ball guard has passed from the ranks.

-Aw i Z CARI, Cuorfroan Fo1'f:u11'ff Leading the Oak Clitl' teammates in points - - scored with 51, LroH'ord was recognized as ll real forward ln' the other eitj' players. His ac- curate throw and kee n eye accounted for many lwaskets which otherwise would have gone to naught. Nlueh will he expected of him if he remains to play next GEOFFREY NICBRIDE gllrifff hlcliride also played a line game at guard for the Leopards, and should be given some Credit for what success the team enjoyed during the past season. He apparently has Ll natural instinct for Covering players, and used his knowledge of the game to an ad- vantage all of the time. His presence in the lineup next year will mean another spoke in a perfect wheel of harmony. YCLIT. BILL Ro11E14'1's Fw'fc'111'ff The tall, blond forward, Bill Roberts, played a fairly good game for Coach Al- len's lwasketeers. Roherts is perhaps capable of hetter hasketlwall, but lie really never quite got started. Should he play neXt year he will in all prolwalwilitj' he a star.
