Even though we do not know the names of the first school board members, we would like to take this opportunity to thank them for all the guidance they have given us through the years. To our present school board we would like to give thanks and appreciation for the important role which they play in the organization of our school regulations and activities .

It is not our intention to have what is known as a theme for our yearbook. However, we will refer occasionally to the Salix Academy which was established in 1907 by the Salix Academy Association. From there, it became the Salix High School; the n some years later, the Adams Township High School. In 1922, they moved into the pre- sent building in Sidman. It was not until 30 years later that the name was changed to Adams-Summerhill Joint. The class of ' 58 is honored to be the 50th graduating class.
