Baldacchino The Student Council is composed of one elected representative from each home room, two elected alternates, and delegates at large from each of the three upper classes. They meet during the study period every Thursday morning and make decisions con- cerning our student activities and conduct all elections held within our school. Our Student Council holds membership in both the National and State Associations of Student Council 38

The National Honor Society is an organi- zation of juniors and seniors selected on the basis of scholarship, leadership, service and character. The juniors must rank in the upper fifth of their class, while the seniors must be in the upper third. The members of the Adams-Summerhill Chapter are selected by teacher-student voting and scholarship rank. The purpose of the society is to pro- mote the academic standing and character of the pupils in the high school and to give them an enthusiasm for leadership and ser- vice. Secretary J.
