Our high school offers many opportunities which meet the needs of almost every pupiL For those who plan to further their education by going to college or prepare themselves for technical occupations, the Academic Course is offered. Students who plan to work in any phase of business or to advance themselves commercially take the Commercial Course. Those who take a combina- tion of both courses are said to be in the General Course. The Home- Economics Course is offered to prospective teachers of home-economics, dieticians, or future house wives. The Adams-Summerhill High School believes that every student should endeavor to make the best of the opportunities offered him and to study his subjects seriously. As an acknowledgement to those students who do good work, an honor roll has been established. In order to be a member of this honor rating a student must have an average grade of 4.1; to be rated as a high honor student, the pupil must have achieved an average of 4. 7. The honor roll is devised every nine weeks, and is published in our school newspaper. 35
