The National Honor Society is a group of Juniors and Seniors selected on the basis of character, scholarship, leadership, and service. Twenty per cent of each class is selected from those ranking in the upper third of the class. Members of the Adams-Sum- merhill Chapter are selected by Teacher - Pupil voting and scholarship rank. This Chap- ter is mainly honorary and has no set system of activities. This year members of the Chap- ter conducted opening exercises during Christmas Season.

A four-page tabloid, it contains general news, editorials, features, and sports news of the school. The newspaper is entirely self-support- ing, deriving funds from the candy machine, lunch concession, subscriptions, and other outside activities. THE ADAMSONIAN is a constant winner of honor ratings given by the various schol- astic press associations, including the Penn- sylvania School Press Association and the National Scholastic Press Association.
