RESIDENCE l-IALLS' COUNCILS u
The Residence Halls have done much to add to the school spirit of Adams
State Teachers College. Moving day for each of the Halls was a marked
event for the college students Who had been awaiting the completion of the
buildings.
House meetings were held and officers were elected for both Halls. The
officers chosen for the Women's Residence Hall were Olive Dochter, President:
Susan Holland, Vice-Presidenty and Louise Wommer, Secretary. The officials
selected for the lVIen's Residence Hall were Ben Quin, President, and Allen
Kirby, Bill Farley, and Simon Chavez as proctors.
The Residence Halls Were dedicated on December 21. The preceding day
the Halls had been open for public inspection. Social affairs included a formal
dance given by each of the Halls.
