Special Classes Introduce Future Work Exploratory teaching was for seniors who planned to become teachers. The main purpose of this program was to give the students some teaching experi¬ ence before entering college. During the first week of school, 26 starry-eyed students gazed at the con¬ glomerate mess in the electronics cen¬ ter . After they had learned to operate the equipment efficiently (six months and ten million mistakes later), they were taught the theory behind electron¬ ics. Teachers were Mr. Pat Nelson and Mr. Gene Chronister. Tom Stevens and Mr. Ransbottom go over the lesson plans for M.S. math. 25 L

I Art, Music Develop Talent, Creativeness Art is something almost everyone enjoys. A.C. ' s art department offered students a chance to learn to draw better and to develop ideas better. This sub¬ ject was enjoyed by those who made the signs and posters around school. Arts and crafts students expressed them¬ selves through leather, paints, and ceramics. The individual practice sessions of¬ fered music students a chance to better themselves as much as they wanted. Extra time was required as both the band and the choir participated in con¬ tests around the state.
