Someone tried to burn down school. Small boniire broke out in assem- bly. Cause traced to Senior and Freshman. Fire was put out before any damage was done. March 20 — Thanks a lot for a swell time, Harve. Poofie, did you slide around? March 22 — All county choral rehearsal at Pleasant Mills. Me-Me-Me? March 23 — Good Friday. School dismissed. March 26 — Be on the look out! Three more Senior girls have staked their claims. Jewelers show new profits. March 27 — Swell job, Mr. Chance. County Music Festival. March 30 — Chapel speaker was Bev. Kriebial. Had full length movie. Congratulations Juniors. It was a swell play. March 31 — Millard Habegger ' s on top again in com- prehensive test at Blufflon. April 2 — My poor feet! Senior skating parly. April 5 — Rush! Rush! Deadline is almost here Track Meet at Jefferson, we won, 46 - 39. Roe Allen had more trouble getting there. April 6 — Deadline is here and editor is sick, more trouble. Freshman blow-out tonight at gym. Movie was shown to whole school. April 9 — Gather up your junk here comes the sen- iors again. They are on a scrap drive. April 12 — Edith Steury and Marie Habegger went to Home Ec. day at Ball State Teachers ' College with Miss Steller and Mrs. Reed. April 13 — Rev. Eicher is chapel speaker. Senior girls are starting a bakery in the Home Ec. Room. Cookies! Cookies! Gel your freshly baked cookies. April 14 — Seniors have big bake sale. April 16 — Home Ec. lassies present style show at P.T.A. April 21 — We ' re on our way. The big trip is today. Everyone is all excited. April 27 — We ' re home again. We lost to Jefferson. Dec. 6 — Open wide. School gets dental survey. Dec. 7 — We lost to Monroeville. Harve! Temper! Dec. 8 — Underclassmen get pictures taken, push. pull, click, click. Dec. 11 — Seniors order announcements. Dec. 12 — Let me out of here. Chemistry class makes hydrogen sulfide. Dec. 14 — Mr. Schierif spoke to school on Russia. Dec. 19 — Seniors get name cards. Rekamemoh held Christmas Party, went caroling, exchanged gifts. More fun. Dec. 21 — You name em, you can have em! Seniors get graduation pictures. Pass the cigars, Mr. Heiman. So it was another boy! Dec. 22 — Christmas vacation starts. School has big party in gym at noon. Merry Christmas every one! Jan. 2 — Happy New Year. Back to the mines, kids, vacation is over. Come on fellas get going. Jan. 19 — This is getting to be a habit. We lost to Geneva. Jan. 22— Had a movie for whole school. Very good. Jan. 26 — Dr. Hankins spoke Jo us. Jan. 30 — Listen to those knees knocking. Four girls give orations before assembly. Good work, Edith! Jan. 31 — Farmer ' s Institute. Feb. 2 — Brr-r, School gets out because of cold weather. Feb. 6— Staff sweats and slaves at Mrs. Reed ' s house. F.F.A. team lost to Gerber Furniture of Bluffion. Feb. 7— Beat Pleasant Mills — 55-52. Feb. 8 — Take a deep breath. Juniors and seniors took x-ray test for T.B. Bus broke down coming back. Feb. 9 — Busy Bee seniors got ready for Variety Program. The best cleaning the gym had for a long time. Feb. 12 — There ' s no business like show business. Speech class enjoys the stage play Oklahoma. Feb. 13— We did it, again. We lost to Monmouth. Feb. 14 — Valentine ' s Day — Ah! Ha! Romance is in the air. Feb. 15 — And again! We lost to the Commies . Feb. 16— Edith Steury participated in the Oratory Contest. She did well. Rekamemoh Club had Valentine ' s Party. Feb. 19 — Mr. Andrews is tearing his hair over sec- tional tickets. Feb. 22-23-24— Hurrah! Hurrah! Sectional time. Feb. 26 — Decatur is celebrating. Feb. 27 — Seniors went to Indianapolis to see state legislature in action. Was the SHOW good boys? Feb. 28 — Ya-a-a! Only 36 more days of school for seniors. March 2 — Chapel speaker was Rev. Richards. We rehearsed for County Music Festival. March 5 — Nice day — Everyone outside at noon drinking in sunshine. March 6— Chemistry finally paid off. The class went to Chicago. March 7 — June got her man. March 8 — Harve! Must not lose your temper. Naughty boy! March 9 — Bud Cook is in the tatooing business.
