CALENDAR Sept. 5 — First day of school. We ' re on our last lap. Sept. 7 — Seniors chose class officers. The big shots for the senior year. Sept. 8 — The school is bright today with the junior class rings. We beat Monmouth in soflball. Sept. 11 — Robert ' s Studio came to see if we would break their camera. Sept. 14 — Find a place to hide. The seniors are on the lookout for scrap. Sept. 15 — Juniors and seniors decide to sell maga- zines. Money! Money! Money! Hartford beat us in softball. Sept. 19 — They ' re back in the winning again. Beat Monmouth. Sept. 22 — It walks. It talks. It ' s almost human. School lets out at noon for Bluffton Fair. Sept. 26— Seniors decide on DON ' T TAKE MY PENNY as class play. Tough luck. Hartford beat us again. Sept. 27 — Aren ' t we popular. Cron Studio wants to take our pictures, too. Sept. 28 — What a smell! Senior girls initialed the Frosh girls by taking their shoes off. Sept. 29 — We played Jefferson. Since yesterday the senior girls are considered very juvenile. Oct. 2 — Seniors choose play case. We lost to Mon- mouth in county softball play off. Oct. 3 — High society! Rekamemoh club entertains mothers at tea. Watch that crook in your finger! Oct. 5 — Senior girls went to Ft. Wayne. Learned how to wrap pretty packages. Oct. 6— ONE! TWO! THREE! Rah, Rah, Rah! Chose Bob Johnson, Elizabeth Johnson, and Rex Bovine as cheerleaders. Do you notice something strange about Myona? Ask to see her left hand Oct. 9 — Ship Ahoy! School let out for high water. Oct. 10 — Annual Staff announced. Oct. 12 — We decided to give R S the privilege of photographing us. Oct. 13 — The gobblins will get you if you don ' t watch out. After play practice seniors go Hallo- weening. Oct. 19 — Sorry, we made you mad, Harve. Oct. 20 — Rev. Gillander speaker for chapel services. Here ' s hay in your hair! Sophomores have hay ride and weiner roast. Oct. 23 — Senior dress re hearsal. Oct. 24 — Your on! First night of senior play. Oct. 25— Last night of DON ' T TAKE MY PENNY. It was work, but it was fun. Oct. 26-27 — Teachers go to school. Eek! Teachers institute. Rekamemoh had a Halloween Party, scares me! Oct. 30 — School gets sued for damages to R S camera. School blames seniors for damage. Nov. 1 — Eek! Seniors get proofs back. We had first basketball game with Monmouth. You beat us this time, but just look out. Nov. 2-3 — Would you care to put an ad in the an- nual. Seniors sell ads. Nov. 8 — Rekamemoh Club have meeting. Nov. 10 — Boom-m-m! Chemistry class gets new chemicals. A thriller-diller! We beat Geneva by one point. Nov. 15-16 — Yalta — Yalta — Seniors speech class had debate. To go dutch or not is the question. Nov. 17 — Chapel speaker was Rev. Welly. It looks promising. We won in overtime over Jefferson. Nov. 21 — Staff picked red and silver to be color of cover.

Nov. 22 — Oh-h my poor stomach! School enjoys delicious Thanksgiving dinner. Congratulations, cooks. Nov. 27-Dec. 1— Big holiday! Big snow blizzard keeps us out of school. Dec. 5— Whoops! Slipped! We lost to Jefferson. Dec. 6 — Open wide. School gets dental survey. Dec. 7 — We lost to Monroeville. Harve! Temper! Dec. 8 — Underclassmen get pictures taken, push. pull, click, click. Dec. 11 — Seniors order announcements. Dec. 12 — Let me out of here. Chemistry class makes hydrogen sulfide. Dec. 14 — Mr. Schierif spoke to school on Russia. Dec. 19 — Seniors get name cards. Rekamemoh held Christmas Party, went caroling, exchanged gifts. More fun. Dec. 21 — You name em, you can have em! Seniors get graduation pictures. Pass the cigars, Mr. Heiman. So it was another boy! Dec. 22 — Christmas vacation starts. School has big party in gym at noon. Merry Christmas every one! Jan. 2 — Happy New Year. Back to the mines, kids, vacation is over. Come on fellas get going. We lost to Hartford. Jan. 3 — Seniors chose caps and gowns. Cadet blue. Jan. 8 — Hey you! Stand up straight. R S take activity pictures. Jan. 12— Ho! Hum! We lost to Pleasant Mills. Jan. 16 — Ham, escalloped potatoes, peas, homemade ice cream, Yum — Yum. Rekamemoh Club gives supper to basketball squad. Jan. 17 — Receive pictures from R. S. Jan. 19 — This is getting to be a habit. We lost to Geneva. Jan. 22— Had a movie for whole school. Very good. Jan. 26 — Dr. Hankins spoke Jo us. Jan. 30 — Listen to those knees knocking. Four girls give orations before assembly. Good work, Edith! Jan. 31 — Farmer ' s Institute. Feb. 2 — Brr-r, School gets out because of cold weather. Feb. 6— Staff sweats and slaves at Mrs. Reed ' s house. F.F.A. team lost to Gerber Furniture of Bluffion. Feb. 7— Beat Pleasant Mills — 55-52. Feb. 8 — Take a deep breath. Juniors and seniors took x-ray test for T.B. Bus broke down coming back. Feb. 9 — Busy Bee seniors got ready for Variety Program. The best cleaning the gym had for a long time. Feb. 12 — There ' s no business like show business. Speech class enjoys the stage play Oklahoma. Feb. 13— We did it, again. We lost to Monmouth. Feb. 14 — Valentine ' s Day — Ah! Ha! Romance is in the air. Feb. 15 — And again! We lost to the Commies . Feb. 16— Edith Steury participated in the Oratory Contest. She did well. Rekamemoh Club had Valentine ' s Party. Feb. 19 — Mr. Andrews is tearing his hair over sec- tional tickets. Feb. 22-23-24— Hurrah! Hurrah! Sectional time. Feb. 26 — Decatur is celebrating. Feb. 27 — Seniors went to Indianapolis to see state legislature in action. Was the SHOW good boys? Feb. 28 — Ya-a-a! Only 36 more days of school for seniors. March 2 — Chapel speaker was Rev. Richards. We rehearsed for County Music Festival. March 5 — Nice day — Everyone outside at noon drinking in sunshine. March 6— Chemistry finally paid off. The class went to Chicago. March 7 — June got her man. March 8 — Harve! Must not lose your temper. Naughty boy! March 9 — Bud Cook is in the tatooing business.
