Senator Glasier has taken time out from her duties in Washington to be here today. She is trying very hard to be President and we all know she will make it some day. Joining Dick and Walt in the barn, are Willard Wright and Dick Jones who own small dairy farms near Syracuse. We were glad they could make it here today. Phillip Lee just s t o p p e d for a minute tosay Hello ! He's a State Trooper now and a mighty good one, we hear. Sergeant Clarke, recruiting officer for the National Guard managed to leave his duties for one day to come and see his old classmates. Keith brought aiong one of his recruits, Ed McNeely. We're glad to see them both. Guess who else is here with us today? ?--Glenn Robbins, the famous space pilot. He's just back from his first successful trip to the moon. We wish you many more Glenn! ! With his wife, Carol, Jim Ryder is living in New York to be near his new TV show. A talent scout heard him sing This Ole House and he was in . Seen sitting across the room chatting with Jim is Charles Adner. Soon he will be piloting his TWA plane to Bermuda. Eileen Elmer, Marge Smith, and Carol Smith formed a nursing home as soon as they were out of school. Everyone that goes there is very well pleased. Dave Hewitt and his wife, Edith, stopped by on their way home to Cherry Valley. He decided that it would be cheaper to go down there to live than to tow the car back here. From Hollywood, comes Gartha Nugent. She is Dean Martin's personal secretary. Lucky gal! Just coming in the door are Ken and Sally Heath. It's been a long time since we've seen Ken. They're living in Watertown, but they don't stay home much. Beth Brown is the first Secretary of the Treasury of the United States. She tells us this is one treasury she can make balance. Poor Beth--she always gets stuck with the money. Erma Blood and Janet Marriott own a horse ranch. Altho'they prefer to ride horseback, they came to our reunion in a jeep. Sitting on the couch with Eileen and Carol is Emma Castor. She's the su- perintendent of a beautiful apartment house. She always wanted an apartment by herself. In the kitchen we find Bob Shepard, part-owner of the Square Dance Ranch. He says he gets lots of business from Adams Center alumni. Last but not least we see Norma Stevens sitting on the floor telling us of her experiences as a drama coach. She says she enjoys teaching Negro dialect. She's certainly had plenty of experience. 20
