BELOW: These Junior High tracksters were 1st place finishers in the Conference meet. Row 1: Melanie Brannen in the high jump, 220 low hurdles, and 400 meter dash; Sheri Shroyer in 200 and 100 meter dash; and Ann Farnsworth in the shot put and the discus. Row 2: A first place finish was recorded by the 800 meter relay team of Wade Oettchen, Dana Jensen. Jeff Rochholz. and Tom Noland. Dana Jensen also recorded firsts in the 100 meter dash and in the long jump. Clint Brooks was first in the 5 flight hurdles. Both the boy’s and the girl’s teams were able to finish 2nd in the Conference meet. This was done in spite of the fact that both teams were mi- nus a number of team members due to sickness.
