In the Air Tonight 17 The theme for this years style show was Cartoon Capers. A large number of students displayed clothes and projects that they had been working on in Home Economics during the school year. In the pictures on this page are a few of the projects and people that were a part of this very successful show. Much time and hard work was put into the planning for this pro- duction by Mrs. Sturm, who is shown below left as she oversees action from backstage the night of the performance. H o m e E c. 18 1982 Industrial Arts and Style Show!! Included with the style show were exhibits of many of the Industrial Arts stu- dents. There was a wide variety of different types of projects from both the Junior High and High School. One new group was the Readers Theater which performed Hansel and Gretel for which they were given a 1 rating in Districts and a II at State. Bobby received a “I” rat- ing from all three judges that evaluated his performance. At the same contest, Bobby was declared Outstanding in the field of mime and was placed in the Top Ten in the State. Michelle received her “I” rating in the field of After Dinner Speaking with a performance she composed herself. Julie performed a Charles Dickens reading in the field of Prose, which is a combination of poetry and storytelling. Git!!! 108 The Boys track team was very successful at the District track meet as they qualified the 4x100 and the 4x200 meter relay teams and Jon Stetzel in the 200 meter dash.
