In order to be a bonafide member, one had to complete a scientific project. These included investigations in plant cancer, chicken embryology, the makeup of blood, the study of frog anatomy, and many more interesting and beneficial projects. The club, as it has in previous years, attended the Medical Careers Workshop at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Hopefully, these educational experiences helped students become involved in scientific inquiry in order to understand the nature of the scientific revolution and role of science in the world today. HUMAN RELATIONS The purpose of the Human Relations club is to promote good relationships among students at Acme-Delco and the surrounding communities. Club members are chosen by homeroom teachers at the beginning ot each school year. Membership is limited to those students taking upper level math. The club members participate in math contests held at school and at area colleges.
