Mrs. Lineherger Heads Spanish Clubs Los Paisanos, meaning fellow countrymen, has been headed for the past eleven years by MRS. REBECCA LINEBERGER. Mrs. Lineberger first pursued her education at Newberry College and later went on to study at Duke University in North Carolina. After graduating she spent four years teaching in various schools around the United States and Cen- tral America. Since Mrs. Lineberger's arrival at Acadiana, the Spanish department has grown from three classes to thirteen classes, eventually making the Spanish Club one of the finest and largest clubs at Acadiana High School. Another point of interest is Mrs. Lineberger's involvement in the Spanish Honor Society. This club is a national organization which is open to any student who has excelled in Spanish for three semesters or more. The Spanish Honor Society is proud to announce their adoption of a five year old child from Uruguay, whom they support each month.
