FC Il ll V Trip to Spain Proves Educational The Spanish Honor society is a national organization for Spanish students who have maintained a high average for three semesters. This year 23 members were inducted. They were: Cindy Ardoin, Wilma Babino, Brian Blanchard, Nichole Broussard, Cory Clifton, Mark DeShazer, Erica Francis, Kathy Gill, Kim Hoffpauir, Rebecca Holl- ingsworth, Dwight Kaufman, Lisa Le, Keli Marsiglia, Mary Matese, Doug Palombo, Tiffany Parrish, Carol Patin, Mayra Rodriguez, Staci Stover, Stacy Thornton, Ben Waggoner, Beth White, and Craig Yarbrough. The Spanish Honor Society sponsored a young boy, Adrian Costa lrom Uruguay, through the Salesian Missions. Each month they send money to the mission in Uruguay lor the clothing, education, and feeding of Adrian. The society also raised money lor the annual scholarship to study in Saltillo, Mexico. This year's recipient was Kim Hoftpauir. Once again the group sponsored a trip to a Hispanic country. This year a group of 39 students travelled to Madrid. Spain. While they were there they visited the Royal Palce in Madrid, The Valley of the Fallen, the cities of Avila and Toledo, and viewed the Roman Aqueduct and the famous Alcazar in Segoria. The trip proved to be a very educational experience for everyone.
