The group also attended a convention in Alexandria, competed at Flally, and at- tended a regional officers' meeting where Paul Miller was chosen regional president. Foreign Language Week found the French Club work- ing hard, but having lots of fun. Members hung signs and colorful posters around campus to promote the French language and culture. Elementary schools were treated to the club's French production of Little Red Riding Hood. Other activities included a competition in a Parish Poster contest where Chancey Martin placed second and Karen Thibodeaux placed third. A cooking contest featuring both French and Acadian foods was also held in May. In addition, the club hosted the regional Alcfes picnic. FRENCH CLUB 201 lls Sont Partis
