The truly remarkable Wreckln' Rams dominated the whole game and finished with a perfect season, a first in AHS history. With the 10-0 season, the Ftams singly took the 5-AAAA District Championship. As usual, it was another great night for Troy Jones, especially when he broke the'3,000 yard mark. ln the game, he carried the ball 24 times for 228 yards and for tive touchdowns. tn just nine games he has rushed 210 times for a total of 1,495 yards and 27 rushing touchdowns. Troy is a truly arkabi and t t d'n athl t . rem e ou s an r g e e Other stars were also out on Friday night such as Lee Gothe, who made three interceptions and established a seasonal record with eight intercep- tions: Bubba Savell, who made nine solo tackles: and Todd Travis, who end- ed up with six tackles, kicked six extra points, and recovered e fumble. The Rams ended the perfect season with a magnificent victory which boosted spirits, preparing the team for the state playoffs,

The AHS football team with a 9- 0 season took another victory in stride and looked ahead to the Lafayette High game. The game against Franklin was mostly a defensive game. Troy Thibodeaux caught an interception and ran it downfield to make a 62 yard touchdown return. Many superb tackles were made including Lee Arceneaux's seven tackles fthree of them soloy and Greg Guidry's six stops. Lee Gothe made tive tackles and also caught his filth interception of the season. A beautifully part- nered safety play was made by Doug Granger and Brett Schroeder.

Freshman Football: A Challenge The Freshman football team had a very challenging 3-3 season with many well maneuvered plays and players. Special recognition went to Jimmy George with 7 touchdowns, Haywood Edwards with 6 touchdowns, Chad Anderson, and John LaRosen.
