They were praying that the whole game wouldn't be like this, but it was anyway, at least it was for the Bears. Carencro had started a pendulum that wouldn't swing their way again and the Rams made a come-from-behind victory, 48-27. Troy Jones and Brian Polndexter played the game as a dynamic duo. While Troy carried the ball 21 times, covering 218 yards, Brian worked his way into the AHS record book for four incredible touchdown passes. Troy carried the ball 136 times for a total of 1,021 yards and 20 touchdowns, making his mark as one of the state's leading football players. The Acadiana Rams established a perfect season record of 7-O including three district games, as they slowly made their way toward the state play-offs. Great job, Fiams! 102 FOOTBALL Rams Kill Comeaux The Acadiana Homecoming game was successful as usual with a 28-12 domination victory over the Comeaux Spartans. t Troy Jones once again entered the record books with his forty-third career touchdown. Also, Lee Gothe had an outstanding game, offensively and defensively. He made a crucial touchdown and cap- tured two magnificent interceptions. Great job, Rams!
