SUPPLY The Supply Department pro- vides the material and ser- vices necessary to support ACADIA's crew of 1200 on a day to day basis. The Department consists of 6 divisions: S-1 tstock ControVStores Divisionl, S-2 tfood Service Divisionj, S-3 fSales and Services Divisionl, S-4 iDisbursing Divisionl, S-6 lFlepair of Other Vessels, Supply Support Divisionl and S-7 tAutomatic Data Processing Divisionl. The Supply Department is an award winning organization, taking pride in the quality of support provided to the crew. ACADIA is cur- rently a finalist for the 1991 Ney Memorial Award comperi tion after placing second dur- ing 1990. We are also a con- tender for the Ship's Store Best Sales and Services Award, 1991, after winning the award for the 1989-1990 competitive cycle. In keeping with the concept of the full service tender , the Supply Department extended support to more than 75 ships in the OPAREA, providing services ranging from materi- allprovision issues to techni- cal assist visits to barber sup- port. . fgfwx - li L ' to LCDR J.
