SUPPLY The Supply Department has many hid- den tasks. For a crew of approximately 1 100, they began procuring consumable and non- consumable supplies for the crew, in addi- tion to the vast amounts of repair materials and parts needed to fulfill ACADIA ' S mis- sion. During WESTPAC, Supply replaced the services the crew left behind such as: grocery stores, department stores, banks, barber shops, restaurants, and countless others. Not only did supply maintain some 49 store rooms, they worked diligently be- fore deployment, after deployment and in every port onloading and off loading sup- plies for the entire ship. LCDR |.
