Dedication
Throughout life we encounter many and varied indi-
viduals, some exerting great influence upon us. But the
greatest influence usually stems from the one who is
always there when we need him most. One to whom
we can turn without a moment's hesitation, knowing
he really cares. One who will drop what he is doing
just to add a sympathetic ear to our often trivial prob-
lems. One who expects so much from each of us that
we cannot let him down. He demands respect and loy-
alty, and he gets it. A man whose dedication to Rich-
mond Academy is an inspiration to us all. So to you,
Mr. Duford, we dedicate the 1973 ARC.

Be yourseM Especially, do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love, for in the face of all
aridity and disenchantment it is perennial as the grass.
Swag
Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of
spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yoursebf with irnaginings. Many fears are
born of fatigue and loneliness.
b'eyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. Y ou are a child of the universe, no less than
the trees and the starsg you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the
universe is unfolding as it should.
