I was just thinking' how much things have changed since we graduated, twenty years ago. For a while things went as expected. Graybill became presidentg and, with Brett as Secretary of State, the Russians soon came to terms. An international army was formed under Hill Thompson and XYesley Bailey. XVilson liryan and Dick Myers became million- aires as the result tif an oil strike in Hephzibath and scientific progress continued with the perfection of the to operation for ptomaine by XX'alter Rose and Harvey Stirewalt. I became editor of the Talking Turkey and assisted Sir Xkfilliam Iiranan in the publi- cation of the account of his search for King Solomon's Mines ar -und XYaynesboro, Hill Dye and Barinowski made the first trip to the moon and discovered Thurston Thompson and Drew already there, surrounded by moonwomen. Connie Tant became famous for her portraits of Mary -loe and Mrs. Hefler, the international spies, and I.ataner Folk won reknown for his sketches of liowery Characters like Norman XYilliams and Ralph X'Yong. livery -lth of -Iuly we are treated to Alice Aaronson and ,lane lillen Clontz's rendition of Senator Kaufman's famous speech, The Harrisburh .Xddress. The only blots on the rec- ord were Tally, who wound up playing the piano at the Zoom Club, and Ilavird, who went to sea and became a smuggler. Then came the revolution! The women of the xv-lrld rose and threw us out of every j b except being husbands. XYith Theo as dictator and Barbara Hxvens and Caroline Mc- Gahee heading the secret police. we were helpless. Gladys and I.oes Sue took over science but succeeded only in producing a Toni for bald headed women. Iillen Martin, IK'.C.T.C. leader got Clarks Hill changed from that bad word to darn. Carolyn Turner and Maggie Bowick were named on the Olympic Canasta team. and Iiillie Mullan and Shirley Ijardue became the heads of the C.I.l'J. and L'.M.IY. respectively. .Xdmiral Dasher finally captured Havird and his henchmen, Summer, Carton, and lirammer. I, however. have enjoyed this revolution. I have my sixteen children to do all the work, and when I've seen Ifugenia off to the office. I can spend my day editing Mr. IIuff- man's GRE.-XT work.
