ll Pat Lucas and Mary Maushard ioytully gave up many ot their spare-time hours, along with other Academy girls, to help make the Christmas basket drive a success. On their way to greet the members ot the A.F.S. Panel are Student Council otticers, Patty Jewell, President: Patty McShane, Vice-President: Mary Jo Willis, Treas- urer: and Jeanne Mariani, Secretary. These hard-working girls represent their homerooms as members ot the Academy Student Council. They are: seated: Mary Ann Beaupre, Kathy Randall, Pat Manning, Connie Prunch, Margie McNamee, Corky Hagemann, Mary Cannon, Debbie Smith, Denise Donnelly, Mary Jo Lehnhausen, Pe-ggie Ringness, Carol Kelly, and Amy Sloan. Standing are: Marcia DuPage, Peggy Kelly, Karen Howe, Ellie Walloch, Michele Pabon, Michele McMorrow, Kathy Bartley, Kathy Knezoyich, Sharon Judd, Kathy McQuellon, and Leanne Toal. Academy Student Council With the passing of another year, the Academy Student Council, under the able direction ot Sister Mary Agnetta, again looks back with pride at the success ot its undertakings. As the representatives of the student body, the Council, seeking to better faculty-student relationships, sponsored a highly 28 successful Teacher Appreciation Day. Other Council directed activities included a Halloween Barn Dance, the annual Christmas Food Basket Drive, a Freshman Welcome Day, a revision ot the Council Constitution, and a sponsorship of the American Field Service Panel.
