Realit Attained hrou h REII' ion The effect of revised religion courses on the students of the Academy and Spalding has been electrifying. Class participation through reports and an emphasis on positive theology have helped to enliven religion classes for students and make the ancient truths of the faith applicable in a world beset with new problems. The Ecumenical Council has also served as the basis of inspiration for our students. The new emphasis on the liturgy has awakened all of its mean- ing to us, and brought us to a fuller understanding of the Mystical Body of which we are members. . Mary Fosco places her host in the ciborium, as her fellow classmates stand in line preparing to assist at Mass in the Academy Auditorium. Seniors and Juniors attend Mass every first Thursday and the Sophomores and Freshmen on the third Thursday. Father Reardon helps Spalding's students make the Mass more significant in their lives with his sermon on the new liturgy. Torn Raya assists as Father Lund offers Holy lvlass. Academy girls and Spalding boys have the privilege of attending Mass every school day in the Spalding chapel, l
