OUR ALMA MATER Pine trees grown so very tall, Same in summer and in fall- Sentinels, so proud and straight, Guard well our beloved gate! - A pleasant sight to us - well known - A part of our dear second home. - With you we have often shared Our varied secrets and our cares. You remember when we came - Little Freshmen -all the same: Bewildered, scared, prone to beware, Yet Senior Hall to walk we,d dare! - As Sophomores we were not shy, And gaily watched each day go by. For Latin even we were eagerg The Ides of March we buried Caesar! Soon Jolly juniors we became, Saint Catherine,s Hall- our Hall of Fame. - Our Senior year then loomed in sight, VVe seemed to grow up overnight. Pine trees swaying with the breeze, Like old friends, our worries ease. Seniors we are now at lastg And Senior rings are coming fast. - Finally for them we kneel, And new, lasting joy we feel. - Senior weekends, Christmas play, Dances, concerts - happy days. - And Class Night some few tears we shed, VVhile Commencement loomed ahead.
