enior mfreaf an The two major senior religious activities at Lauralton consist of the Senior Retreat and the Corpus Christi Procession. The retreat usually takes place in October, and this year Father Andrew Ansbro, CP., was retreat master as he has been at many of Lauralton's senior retreats. For three 'days the A moment of relaxation during retreat seniors emptied their hearts of material things to make room for Jesus. Because this was their last retreat the girls strove to make it their best. The impressive Corpus Christi procession takes place on or near the feast of Corpus Christi. On this clay the seniors, bedecked in Leila Boyle, Marie Piccolo, Celine Malisek with Father Ansbro.

Father bestows God's holy blessing on our rings. l. to r. - Father Sherer and Celine Malisek, Student Council President. For three years we looked enviously at the beautiful rings on the hands of the seniors, until at last'our Ring Day arrived. After Father Sherer had blessed the little gold bands, we eagerly slipped them on, anxious to receive these, our miniature but majestic symbols of seniority. Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament is held in the Chapel, on the Mansion steps, and as a grand finale, the entire faculty and student body assemble in front of the Grotto for the last Benediction. The final impressive blessing takes place at the grotto.
