Sheila Holland, Carol Ugo- lik and Jane Ziegler thank Father Ansbro for a help- ful retreat. SENIOR RETREAT Senior Retreat, that long-awaited interval of quiet contemplation, finally arrived. These were three days of careful consideration of ourselves, our ambitions, our obstacles. But above all they consisted of secluded moments spent in listening to or talking with an all-important Friend - God. We will never again make a retreat so important, so vital to ourselves and our future. Here were laid the foundations of a lifetime. Now it is for us to build on these foundations. For the future will be one supported and strengthened by the decisions made and the graces given in this retreat. Another bell??? asks Father Ansbro .. The days that make us happy make us wise.

PARENTS' NIGHT Fathers howled, we freshmen blushed and the jesters whole- heartedly strove to make merry that Father-Daughter Night. Who would have thought fathers were skilled in such arts as potato balancing, clothes donning and fast eating? At the Mother-Daughter Tea, our patient mothers weathered the storm of the good old days as we attempted to recreate such situations as By the Sea and School Days. With junior year came an opportunity for our parents and teachers to meet professionally. Individual parent-teacher con- ferences Were held and our parents discovered the whyis and how's of our studies. Senior Parent Night came as an appropriate conclusion to our retreat. This occasion afforded our parents an insight into our choice of vocation. These yearly meetings have presented our parents the op- portunities to analyze our assets and liabilities and to see us as our teachers see us, A serious moment during the Senior Parent Night program. Senior Parent Night Feed the hungry Father-Daughter Night - The greater the obstacle, the more Father Daughter Night Future homemakers7 glory in overcoming it.
