THE LIBRARY Seat of Wisdom, all these rows and rows of books share the Truth with thee is the aspiration and the inspiration of the Library Club of Lauralton. Under the guidance of Mary, Our Lady of Letters, the club publishes The Reading Lamp, a special newspaper which helps to keep the faculty and the students informed of the various library activi- ties. Included in this paper are informative reviews and the list of newly-acquired books. The library is a gold-mine when we have digging to do. It is here one finds seniors earnestly poring through scientific periodicals for chem cards,', or gathering material for oral reports in English, here the-juniors do research for biology projects. The sophomores investigate the life and times of Julius Caesar, and the freshmen discover interesting facts in World History. But research for assignments is not the only reason that students frequent the library, for the rows and rows of books also offer material for relaxation and enjoyment.
