How can we hope to express in a few short paragraphs the gratitude we owe for your years of selfless devotion? It is now as we stand within sight of the Promised Land that there comes the realization of all we owe to you. Each one of us has her own story to tell of your patience, your gen- erosity, your understanding. But this we all have in common-our Catholic education here at Our Lady's own school, our beloved Academy. How many nights did you work late, Dad, for me, anxious lest while paying taxes for public education there would not be enough left for all this too? And, Mother, were there many times when you went without little comforts that some privation might not be mine? All these years we have been faking-accepting everything you had to give.
