They were founded by Sister Cecelia Mary, C.S.C., the first director of our music de- partment. This group of talented voices originally consisted of eight, but has since grown to fifteen. The name Silver Belles originated from one of the songs sung by them at the first Christmas Concert in our 5, new school. The beautiful tones come from -First row: N. DeWold, M. Kiefer, B. Borwne, C.
