mi Bb ACTIVITIES The true Christian does not renounce the activities of this life . . . but he developes and perfects them by coordinating them with the supernatural. Pius Xl Life here at Holy Cross has taught us social balance. Through the various extra- curricular activities we have found social equilibrium. Many opportunities for leader- ship were found in sports and clubs. Stu- dent government taught us justice and charity. Advanced work in science, journal- ism, art and music proved an added chal- Ienge. We became socially skillful because of parties, dances and friendly get-togeth- ers which have enriched us in social graces and the art of togetherness. To Alma Mater we owe our thanks for greater spiri- tual, social and physical development.
