CONCILIUM ROMAXUM The purpose of the La- tin is to stimulate :tn in- terest in classical studies, to develop awareness of Roman contributions, to western civilization and to promote opportunities for social activities with a cultural background. This club is under the dir- ections of Mr. Stollenwerk. 6 he a is aw 5 SUN UP The main objective of the Sun Club is to create Christian fellowship, pro- mote spiritual growth, and combat the ri-:isons for juvenile delinquency. That was the main purpose for forming this club in 1956. This club also provides us with many interesting quests and activities wh- ich zirc found to be very enjoyable by the members of the club as well as the other students at our sc- hool.

In charge of this group is Tolci Ouehi, the Commissioner of Affili- ated Clubs. LANCERS The outstanding green and white jackets makes it easy for tl person to ident- ify one as L1 lzincers. Their purpose is to assist at ull home games. Their main activities ure selling tick- ets at the entrance gates, working in thc concession stands nnd assisting fac- ulty members and special police guards. The club is open to :ill students in- terested in rendering their service to our school. 28 HORNET HUSTLERS A school service club, the purpose of the Hornet Hustlers is to publicize all school activities. GAA To promote friendship to all the girls of the various schools and to uphold and maintain good sportsmanship is the main objective ofthe Girls' Athletic Association. RIOT SQUAD Promoting school spirit at games and rallies is one of the activities of this club. Selling beat ribbons, and most important of all, cheer- ing their team to victory is their main objective. X i i iff Y-TEENS The purpose of this club is to bring together as many girls possible for fun and enjoyment. The Y-Teens are associated and directly under the direc- tion of the downtown YMCA. Missing is Y-Teens president Adrienne Williams.
