" Our Town " was a more serious type of acting and a different kind of drama than Lincoln has ever seen. There was no scenery present and very few props, which called for the audience to use its imagina- tion much more. However, many sound effects helped fill in the gaps. The cast of about 30 members was directed by Mr. Denis Hildreth and Assistant Director Anna Williams. Major roles were played by John Hoffman, Stage Manager and nar- rator; Laurie Anderson, Emily Webb; and Kevin Horner, George Gibbs. Performances were March 16 and 17.
