HISTORY JUNIOR YEAR We finally made it to the top floor, We were really up there-underclassmen no more. Kris and Karen were in for year number three, Our other two officers were Bill and Kathy. The band won in Virginia- girls track, the South Shore, With both winning records and trophies galore. The girl’s basketball team shattered the streak, And their outstanding season proved it no freak. We traveled to Christo’s for the Junior Prom, It was great-even rain couldn’t make things go wrong. The “Long and Winding Road” we chose as the theme, Our court was picked with Pam as queen. After breakfast at Amy’s, it was off to the beach, With blankets and munchies and drinks within reach. We all looked forward to the summer ahead, ’Cause when we returned we’d be Seniors instead. SENIOR YEAR These A.H.S. years have flown by too fast, Graduation will soon be a thing of the past. Our Thanksgiving Day game was a special treat, As the Panthers went down to a crushing defeat. Biz was elected with Kieran, Kathy and Rich, Then the S.A.T.’s in December were a real..... toughie! All in all the year’s been good so far, A worthwhile event was the Christmas Bazaar. To raise some more money we ran Operation Carnation, Like never before, Valentine’s Day created a sensation. For the first time we’ll be conducting Class Night, With the talent we have- it should be a sight! The Reception is planned for the end of May, Followed closely by Graduation Day. It will soon come to a close, our Senior year, And each of us will continue to seek a career. With tears in our eyes we will leave one another, But we know we’ll meet again “when the roads come together.
