To the parents and guardians Thank you so
much for ex ery thing you have done to make our
school years especially our high school days such
happy and successful ones.
XVithout your help we could not look back and
see the footsteps which indicate our achievements.
May we be able to continue the trail of success-
ful footsteps in the future by your guidance.
Dedicating the Tatler to you seems a small
token of appreciation, but we do it sincerely to the
"parents and guardians of the members of the
senior class of 1952."

The junior Varsity team, composed of Sophomores who didn't play on the Varsity team, lost
one, tied one, and won one. In the first game, Roseville defeated us 27 to 20. We tied the next
game with Bushnell 12 to 12. The final game was played at Cuba with Abingdon winning
19 to O.
The boys showed plenty of fight, pep, and enthusiasm, and improvement each game. Some
of the boys who deserve mentioning are 'lerry Simpson, Ronnie Mack, Chuck Batson, Bob Links,
and Denny Ahlert. Some of these fellows we will be seeing on next years Varsity football team.
The team is coached by Bob Peek.

fine job
Many new songs were introduced, both for
their own enjoyment and for the Music Festi-
val which was held in March. The choir also
sang in the Christmas program. In this the
singing served as a background for the scene
depicting the birth of the Christ Child.
Many of the choir members will graduate
this year but we hope that the choir will keep
up their good work. entertaining both the
school and the community.

In the fall of the school year. the senior class
presented a side-splitting three-act comedy
entitled "Men Are Like Streetcarsf'
Maudie, fickle and frivolous younger daugh-
ter of the Masons, had the crowd holding
their breaths, waiting to see what would hap-
pen next.
Xlifhen joy, Maudies cousin. comes to visit
her unclels family, she finds that she must
learn a lesson in the acquirement of a boy
friend. Maudie gives joy notes, and Joy defi-
nitely puts them to use.
Before anyone realizes it, Joy has Davy, who
is supposed to be Maudies steady, Chi, and
all the other boys.
The girls, Alix, Julie, and Lysbeth, become
quite upset about losing their boy friends and
stomp home to tell their mothers what Maudie
has done. The mothers immediately go to
Mr. and Mrs. Mason, who almost decide to
move out of the neighborhood as a result of
all this.
Sylvia Mason, the older daughter, who is
in love with Jerry, has quite a time ridding
herself of Ted and getting Jerry.
Margaret, the maid. adds her colorful bit to
the hilarious feature.
Everyone is happy in the end, however. Out
of the confusion and upheaval, come peace
and calm. Every girl gets her man, and the
Masons and neighbors are back on good terms.
XVith the able assistance of Mrs. XXr'enzel-
mann and the production staff, the play was a
huge success.
