Budgetting In Kitchen Results In Dividends Famous French cooks they're not. The ultimate goal was to get through class without burning down the school. Home Economics was co-ed for the first time. Bachelor-bound boys tried their hands at being housekeepers and found it wasn't so hard to cook; but the mess . .. well, that was something else. Classes studied insurance, home build¬ ing, banking and checking accounts, and budgeting money. A field trip to look over apartments and houses proved to be beneficial to all students. Before the year was up, some had decided that a life alone would be a lot cheaper, but others found that maybe being a bachelor or bachelorette wasn't such a great idea after all.
