!g?677?H77 ,Of Educ, This was Superintendent E. L. Fied- ler's first year as the key man in finish- ing up the details of the new high school. Mr. Fiedler came to Abilene in 1943 from Wamego, Kansas. He started in the school system as princi- pal of the junior high, advancing to the high school in 1947 to become principal until last year, when he became super- intendent.
