BAND - composed of 74 members marched in clever formations during the halftime at all home football games- - was honored at Lawrence on band day by appearing on the KU gridiron during halftime . . . sponsored their eleventh annual Christmas dance at the Sunflow- er hotel ball room . . . entertained at 'f home with a spring concert combined ' 17 with the AHS chorus for the first time S X . . . ended 2' successful season by play- K ing at baccalaureate and commencement to keep the graduating seniors in step.
